According to a report in Science News, my reports about the risks of using
plastics (that I’ve reported and written about for years) have come to fruition.
Scary.
The report states that even a small amount of polycarbonate plastic is shown to
increase our risk of developing diabetes and insulin resistance, otherwise known
as Syndrome X.
The study was conducted on mice. The chemical in question is bisphenol-A, known
to be an endocrine disrupter that mimics the effects of hormones in the body
such as estrogen. This substance is found in a broad array of plastic products
including baby bottles, dental sealants, hard plastic bottles, and some personal
hygiene products.
When I was growing up, my mother never used plastics. It was always waxed paper,
those cute little plastic covers for bowels that had elastic around them (but
never touched the food) or glass containers.
If you’re as concerned about this report as I am, go back to basics because your
health and that of your loved ones is what matters, naturally.

Having worked in dentistry prior to my career in natural health, I understand
too well the dangers of having bisphenol-A in dental restorations. In a future
report I’ll shed some light on dental implications and what you can do to
protect and reduce your risk.
